Why a session takes so long — and why that shapes the price

· 2 min read

The question about price is really a different question underneath: “why does this cost more than seeing a psychotherapist?” The answer is time.

A standard psychotherapy session runs 50 minutes. A regression session cannot. That is not a preference — it is how deep trance works. Before any regression begins there has to be a conversation, an intention set, a gradual induction and a deepening of relaxation. The regression itself is another two hours, often more. At the end there needs to be time to come back, to ground, and to talk through what happened.

Shorten any of those stages and the whole thing suffers. A rushed induction means a shallower trance. No time to talk afterwards means you leave carrying material you do not yet understand.

In practice an hour of my time costs 500 PLN for a regression and about the same for the longer sessions — roughly what an experienced hypnotherapist charges per hour in a larger city. The only thing that changes the final figure is the number of hours.

Most often a single session is enough for a given moment in life. An important part of the whole process is what comes after: allowing yourself to absorb and integrate the experience unhurried. That is why, when we do arrange further sessions, it is usually not sooner than a few months later.

Sessions take place in person in Cracow or online. I work in English and in Polish.
